As Calhoun City Schools opened its doors for a new school year, the system was prepared for the slight increase in enrollment.

All of the Calhoun City Schools' Teachers of the Year were honored at a reception at the Depot prior to the August 21st Board of Education meeting.

Calhoun Middle School "Three-peats" as East Coast National Debate Champions.  For the third year in a row, Calhoun Middle School’s debaters won the East Coast National Debate Tournament.

The GA Department of Education sent its congratulations to CHS on being selected to receive a Comprehensive Academic Performance System (CAPS) grant for the 2007-2008 school year!
