Vaughn and Leggett, Attorneys at Law once again are presenting Scholar Athlete of the Week plaques to deserving CHS Students.  At the end of the year a Scholar Athlete of the Year will be chosen from all of this year’s honorees and will be presented a $500 scholarship.  Week 1 honorees are Scott Blair and Kayla Ralston.  Scott is a football and soccer standout and has recently been ranked the number one high school punter in the nation.  Kayla is currently playing softball for the Lady Jackets and also plays basketball. She has alternated with golf and soccer as her spring sport.

Week 2 Scholar Athletes are Curt Welch and Hannah Hudgens.  Curt is an outstanding football and baseball player. Last year he  was named the Tri State Defensive Player of the Year by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.  Hannah runs cross country in the fall and also plays basketball. 

Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, Hal Lamb, expressed his thanks to Jesse Vaughn of Leggett and Vaughn for honoring these seniors for their academic as well as athletic accomplishments.
