Calhoun High Schol Interact Club members helped with the annual Rivers Alive project coordinated by the UGA extension office. Rebecca Thomas of the extension office said that over 3120 pounds of trash was collected from 4H clubs and the Interact Club.  Interact members participating were:  Brittney Surratt, Anum Hanif, Daniel Baldwin, Sally Peterson, Jenna Joyave, Anna Joyave, Gail Smith and Karishma Patel.  Recycling and ecological concerns are a big part of Interact Club membership.  Also present were Allen Robertson and Russell Dudley of the Calhoun Rotary Club, which sponsor CHS’s Interact Club.
