Vaughn and Leggett, Attorneys at Law once again are presenting Scholar Athlete of the Week plaques to deserving CHS Students.  At the end of the year a Scholar Athlete of the Year will be chosen from all of this year’s honorees and will be presented a $500 scholarship. 

New Scholar Athletes receiving awards are Cody Franklin and Deidre Cook.  Cody is a 4 year member of the CHS Region Champion varsity football team, he is an A student, holds a part time job and enjoys the outdoors hunting and fishing. Deidre is a member of the State Champion Competition Cheerleading squad, a member of HOSA, Interact Club, Pep Club and Yearbook.

Head Football Coach and Athletic Director, Hal Lamb, expressed his thanks to Jesse Vaughn of Leggett and Vaughn for honoring these seniors for their academic as well as athletic accomplishments.
