IB and Interact Students Donate $500 to Heifer International…

IB students at CHS voted in the fall to adopt the Heifer International organization as a community service and educational project and began raising money by selling baked goods. The Interact Club membership, with financial support from the Calhoun Rotary Club, chose to support the IB project with a donation of $250. Combined funds from the two groups made it possible for $500 to be sent from the IB fund to the Heifer organization. In the spring semester, the bake sale fundraiser will continue, and IB students are preparing a short program on Heifer’s international outreach to present to various classes.
