Mr. Lawrence Barton spoke to Mrs. Crystal Veal’s 9th grade literature classes studying the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. The setting of this book was during The Great Depression, and Mr. Barton shared his personal experiences about what it was like to live during this trying time in our country with Mrs. Veal’s students.
