Alpha Delta Kappa – Applicants must plan to major in education and enter the teaching. Applicants must possess good leadership, organization, and communication skills. The scholarship will be awarded based on the following:
- GPA, SAT Scores, activities in which participated, awards, and honors.
- Financial need and letters of recommendation.
- Essay.

Calhoun Elks Lodge Scholarship – Applicants must be a graduating senior in which scholarship is being awarded. Student must attend an accredited College or University in the United States and must be an American Citizen. The student must reside within Calhoun Lodge jurisdiction.

Academic Performance
School leadership and participation
Community Service
Essay quality
(Some consideration given to children or grandchildren of Calhoun Elks Lodge Members)

Calhoun Gordon Co. Tommy Brown Bulldog Scholarship – Applicant must be accepted and planning to attend the University of Georgia. Will need to fill out application and go through an interview process.

Calhoun/Gordon County Board of Realtors - Students must be planning to study or work toward a career in construction, construction management, or something in that field.

Calhoun Woman’s Club-Applicant must plan to attend college and enter the medical field. Application to be filled out and will have to list school activities, community activities that the student have been involved in. Will have to list future goals and tell them why you wish to enter the medical field and why you feel that you should be awarded this scholarship.

Delta Kappa Gamma Scholarship-If you are interested in applying for the Delta Kappa Gamma scholarship for female students and plans to pursue a career in education, please do the following:
Write a letter to Delta Kappa Gamma stating (a) why you want to be an educator, (b) the type of education you plan to pursue, and (c) the reason you need the scholarship. Even though it is not required a typewritten letter looks nicer and makes a better impression

Family Savings Federal Credit Union C.V. Glassco $1000 Merit Scholarship – These scholarships are a way to recognize and encourage academic excellence on behalf of the Management, Staff and Board of Directors of Family Savings Federal Credit Union. Scholarships are available to any graduating high school senior in Gordon County. These Merit Scholarships will be awarded based on the extent and quality of a student’s overall high school performance. Selections of recipients will focus on a strong academic record with emphasis on extracurricular involvement, leadership experience and community service.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Scholarship
Eligibility Requirements:
Must be an active member of the CHS Chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes
Must demonstrate the values of FCA
Must have been involved in at least one extracurricular activity
Must have a letter of recommendation from the Huddle Sponsor, Coach Hall
Must have a minimum of three recommendations from either of the following: Teacher/Coach, or Community Leader, or Youth Minister/Minister.

The Calhoun-Gordon County Retired Educators Association Scholarship-The Calhoun-Gordon County Retired Educators Association is offering a scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the public high schools(Calhoun High and Gordon Central) who plans to pursue a career in Education. Criteria for selection include academic achievement, school and community involvement, clear-cut goals with definite plans to become an educator, and need. Clarity and neatness in completing this application form will also be considered.

Gordon County Builders Association Scholarship-This scholarship would be for those that are attending college to continue their education in construction or a building type field.

Gordon Hospital Foundation Nursing/Allied Health Scholarship – This Scholarship Program is made possible by the Nursing Scholarship Endowment Fund of the Gordon Hospital Foundation. This fund was created as an incentive to area students to enter into the healthcare field. To be eligible you must be enrolled, accepted or awaiting notification of acceptance to an accredited institution. Criteria based on academics, community service, extracurricular activities, financial need, a written paragraph and three letters of reference.

Howard Norrell Memorial Scholarship-Application is presented by Calhoun-Gordon County Club Y Inc. Student must fill out an application and send in application with a copy of their transcript.

Kiwanis Scholarship-The Kiwanis Club of Calhoun believes in the power of education, and the role it plays in shaping successful lives for the youth of our community. Applications will be provided and each application is carefully reviewed by the Kiwanis scholarship committee. The applications are narrowed down, and those applicants are scheduled for personal interviews with the scholarship committee.

Marc Ethridge Memorial Merit Based Scholarship-The $500 scholarship will be non-renewable in order to allow the maximum number of students to benefit from the program.
Requirements:
- Be a graduating Senior.
- Have a 3.0 or B academic average.
- Plan to attend a college or university.
- Plan to major in a math related field.
- Complete application and essay.

Oostanaula Community Club Scholarship-Applicant must be a resident of Gordon County and attending a Calhoun or Gordon County High School. Applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend an accredited college or academic institution.. Selection of the winner will be made on basis of GPA and adversities faced to stay in school and make good grades, and will be made by the scholarship committee of members at large of the Oostanaula Community Club. The winner must attend the club benefit and will be asked to make a short acceptance talk. Failure to do so will forfeit the scholarship.

Rotary Scholarship-Student would need to fill out an application. The application would ask questions regarding financial need and income from 2006 tax return.

Tiffany’s HOPE Memorial Scholarship-This is a $500 scholarship and was established in 2004 in memory and honor of Tiffany Marie Sisson through a non-profit organization, Tiffany’s HOPE, Inc. Tiffany is remembered by many in our community as a dedicated Christian leader in the youth with many activities and interests.
It is her family’s and friends desire that each recipient of the Tiffany’s HOPE Memorial Scholarship be chosen based on his or her all-around qualities and character which best models that of Tiffany’s integrity.
Good academics, school activities, awards, honors, leadership roles and community involvement are some of these requirements.
Any high school senior in Gordon, Murray and Whitfield counties is eligible to apply for this scholarship.

Educational Communications Scholarship Foundation-This scholarship was established in 1968 as a counter-part of the well known publications, Who’s Who Among American High School Students, which recognizes exemplary students from across the nation. To this day the Foundation’s core goal remains unchanged to help students obtain the financial assistance necessary to continue their education.
This year a minimum of 61 scholarships will be distributed to meritorious students who may use the award to fund their education at any accredited, post-secondary institution in the field of study of their choice. To qualify, it is not necessary to be listed in Who’s Who to be eligible for our scholarships. To qualify for a scholarship a student must be a legal resident of the U.S. and demonstrate academic ability.
