The CHS Science department was pleased to get the good news they are to receive over $61,000 to enhance instruction.  Judy Peterson and Josh McCanless spearheaded the endeavor, but credit the entire science department for helping during the application process.

The CAPS grant is a one year grant that consolidates the use of curriculum standards and pacing, benchmark assessment, differentiated instruction, parent involvement, and public accountability. The grant program provides  funds for the hiring of a full-time instructional coach and to offset the costs of a technology interface.
