Calhoun High School’s HOSA (Health Occupation Students Association) held their spring blood drive to honor Will Amick. A record number of staff and students donated blood on his behalf. Sixty-six units of blood were donated with Blood Assurance. Blood Assurance has agreed to donate money for every unit of blood donated to help defray some of Will’s hospital expenses. Sandy Barton, HOSA advisor, remarked. "It was awesome. Will showed up for the drive and the students and staff signed a t-shirt for him. This is just another sterling example of the generous hearts of the students at CHS."
