The Construction Trades classes under the direction of instructor, Dale Hales has just completed a 1352 square foot house.  This house will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on Saturday, February 18th at 11:00 AM.

The structure is a three bedroom 2 bath home with living room and kitchen.  It is wired has an HVAC system, vinyl siding, 30 year architectural shingles, 2 tub/shower combos and 3/4” Advantech sub flooring.  Roof, walls and floors are 16” on center.

Technical Career students began construction last spring.  Over 110 students have worked on this project.  Supplies for the construction trades classes and scholarships for Technical Career students are made possible from the proceeds of these sales.

This is the first time; Coach Hales has undertaken such a project. “Charlie Chadwick, retired Construction trades teacher, built a house nearly every year before he retired, and he also was a tremendous help to me and the students, constructing this house.  I guess you could say we are carrying on the tradition.”
