Tips to help your child at home:

• Practice the multiplication facts with your child regularly.
• Play mental math games.
• Practice telling time and thinking about elapsed time.
• Read to and with your child.  Have your child read to you.
• Have your child keep a journal or log of some kind and write in it every day.
• Allow your child to help you "measure" and "plan" at home.
• Model making estimates and predictions as you work at home.
• Encourage your child to write in cursive.
• Please check and sign your child's agenda every night.
