Hi!  My name is Heidi Allen, and I am excited to be one of the guidance counselors at Calhoun High School.  This will be my seventeenth year in education and my ninth year serving as guidance counselor at CHS.  I began my career as a middle school science teacher at Upson Lee Middle School in Thomaston, Georgia, before pursuing my masters degree in school guidance and counseling.  I then served as a middle school guidance counselor for three years prior to moving to Calhoun and becoming a high school gudance counselor.   l am married to John Allen and have three children who attend Calhoun City Schools.  I look forward to working with students and parents to ensure a successful high school career and smooth transition to the post-seccondary world.
