Policies & Procedures

Students may visit the media center between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm.

Students in Grades 1-5 may check out two books for two weeks. Kindergarten students may check out one book at a time.

Students are responsible for losses and damages of any materials check out in their name.

Only media staff or those trained in the use of the Surpass circulation system are allowed to use the computer to check out books.

No equipment (other than Playaways) or videos can be checked out to students.

No Accelerated Reader tests will be taken after 3:0 pm. This is to ensure that no student (such as those in after school care) has an advantage over any other student.

Parents may check out up to five books at a time during school hours.
