I am Misty Chesser Dorsey, Calhoun High School graduate. I have an A. S. in Criminal Justice, a B. S. in Early Childhood Education, a M. Ed. in Technology in Education, an Ed. S. in Teaching and Learning. I have also received a Gifted Endorsement and an ESOL Endorsement through Northwest Georgia RESA. I have been teaching in Calhoun City Schools since 2003. I began at CES as a 3rd grade teacher. I have also taught several other things at CES: 5th grade, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade EIP Reading and Math. I also taught Technology at Calhoun High School for two years, including such things as Graphic Arts and Video Production. I am married to Mr. Scott Dorsey, who is also a teacher at CES! I have two cats (Baby Kitty & Leo), a Miniature Dachshund (Molly), and a wonderful step-son, Tristan, who attends Cartersville High School.
