Mrs. Casey Parker, Music Teacher at CPS, was recently named teacher of the year.  Mrs. Parker was selected by her peers to represent Calhoun Primary School for 2010-2011.  She was then also named Teacher of the Year for Calhoun City Schools for 2010-2011.  Mrs. Parker is very deserving of this recognition and will represent our school system well. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Casey Parker on this well deserved honor. CPS is delighted to be represented by Casey this year as our Teacher of the Year. I am always impressed and inspired when I visit Mrs. Parker's class and see the boys and girls so excited and having fun with all they are learning. We are eagerly anticipating our student musical performances this year as Mrs. Parker always does a wonderful job and finds ways to reinvent herself each time out.. Congratulations again.
