Hello.  My name is Ms. Michelle Doane.  It is a pleasure to serve your child here at CMS.  I love my job and am happy to be part of this incredible community.  I have 22 years of middle school educational experience and feel my life's calling is working with children.    

I have two sons who attend CHS.  We have two dogs who are part of our family as well.  I enjoy reading, writing poetry and short stories, painting, exploring new music, hiking, taking photos, and traveling.  My family is working on seeing all 50 U.S. states before my youngest son graduates.  We have 7 states remaining.  

Our children are the future, and I believe in fostering the individual and unique strengths of each student.  I also believe in open and frequent communication between parents and educators to together guide our kids.  Education is truly a joint effort between home and school.  

I am PROUD to be a Calhoun Yellow Jacket.  We have something special here;  We Are Calhoun :)
