Huddle House steps up to the hot plate!

Huddle House of Calhoun treated Calhoun Elementary School teachers and staff to a made-to-order breakfast on Monday, January 2nd at the complex. This was a fantastic way to kick off the New Year for a tremendous group of educators. Staff enjoyed time in fellowship while catching up on the happenings of their Christmas vacation. This was made possible by the recent partnership between Calhoun City Schools and Huddle House as they joined us as a member of our Partners in Education Program. Huddle House was gracious enough to reward our educators for their hard work with this special breakfast and also plan to implement a writers recognition program within all of our schools. With this program, students' writing pieces will be featured in Huddle House at patrons' tables for the public to view and also provide positive feedback. The students whose pieces are selected will also be treated to a special breakfast and special eating privileges at our local Huddle House restaurant. We would like to thank Huddle House for partnering with us and we look forward to the continuation of this growing relationship. If you would like more information on our Partners in Education Program and how you too may become a Partner with Calhoun City Schools, please contact Peter Coombe at coombep@calhounschools.org or visit our Partners in Education website at www.calhounschools.org.
