In my class, we will be learning math, science, and social studies. In math, we will be multiplying and dividing decimals and fractions and finding the area of triangles, parallelograms, and circles, among many other concepts. Learning is accomplished through learning tasks, such as discovering the relationship between the diameter of a circle and its circumference, and performance tasks, such as finding the cost of a border for a circular garden. In science, we will be learning about Georgia landforms, matter, microorganisms, and genetics through scientific inquiry. In social studies, we will be learning about economics, geography, and history from civil war to the present.
