My name is Jessica Trimble, and I am thrilled to have the honor to be your child’s teacher this year. This is my seventh year teaching. After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) endorsement from The University of West Georgia in May of 2005, I began my career teaching 4th grade for Calhoun City Schools and have continued to be amazed at how much I am turning into a true Yellow Jacket!!! I continued my education at Kennesaw State University and obtained a Master’s Degree in curriculum and instruction in 2008.
I have been married to my amazing husband, Larry, for the past six years and we have a beautiful baby girl, Avery Gray. Avery Gray will be three in February and attends preschool. Her favorite food is chicken nuggets and raisins and her worn out pink blanket that is like an American Express card…We don’t leave home without it!!! Our sweet pea is so adorable, but she is definitely like her daddy!!!!
My absolute favorite thing to do is scrapbook. I have enjoyed scrapbooking for the past eight years and find that nothing relieves my stress better than cutting, gluing, cropping, ripping, and inking paper and photos. I love spending time on my parent’s farm and helping my mother in her retirement. I have one sister, Jennifer, who lives in Dalton with my brother-in-law Robert and my energetic nephew, Aiden. He is eight and rules the roost. Some of my family’s favorite TV shows include American Idol, Big Brother, Castle, The Cosby Show, and Wheel of Fortune. During football season, on Friday nights, you will find me in the stands cheering on the Yellow Jackets.
I am passionate about my love for children and education, and I am thankful that I have been blessed with a job that allows me to enjoy both. I encourage you to contact me at any time to discuss your child’s education.
