Meet Mrs. Coombe
Hello, my name is Natalie Coombe and I am proud to serve as an Exceptional Student Support Teacher at Calhoun Elementary School. This is my 5th year in education and my 4th year teaching.  I grew up in the Calhoun City School System and am proud to be a part of this wonderful Yellow Jacket Community. I obtained my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of West Georgia. After graduating, I worked in the private sector for three years but during that time, I often felt that my calling was elsewhere. I had the opportunity to serve as a paraprofessional at Calhoun Middle School and it was there that I realized that I wanted to pursue a career in education. I obtained my certification through the Georgia TAPP Program in spring of 2010.  As an ESS teacher, I have the opportunity to teach all children in a co-teaching classroom, while providing additional support for those students who have special needs. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach your child and I hope school is as enjoyable for your child as it is for me.  I have been married for four years to my wonderful husband, Peter, who serves as the counselor at Calhoun Middle School.  In my spare time, I love to read and I enjoy traveling in the summer.
