I will be teaching math, science, and social studies. Students will continue to develop skills in addition, subtraction, and multiplication and will be introduced to division. Mastering multiplication facts is an important goal for 3rd grade students, so make sure you’re practicing your multiplication facts at home. In science students will learn about rocks, minerals, and soils, fossils, magnets, and plants and animals of Georgia. In social studies students will be learning about the branches and levels of our United States government and they will also learn about several American historical figures such as Mary McLeod Bethune, Fredrick Douglass, and Cesar Chavez.
