We offer Student Math And Reading Tutorial (SMART) both before and after school for students who may benefit from the extra reinforcement.  As you know, we are committed to doing all we can to help ensure the success of every student in our school.  We identify students for SMART whose CRCT scores and benchmark scores indicate that they may benefit from some additional support.  The SMART Program offers the assistance of certified teachers to students in the morning and afternoon tutorials. 

Beginning in October students may come once each week for math and/or reading.  In the spring we increase the SMART to two days per week for each subject.  The morning sessions are from 7:00 (or whatever time the bus delivers children to school) to 7:45.  Students participating in the morning session have the opportunity to purchase a school breakfast during the tutorial.  Free or reduced breakfast will still be available for qualifying students in the morning period.

The afternoon sessions are from 2:45 – 3:30.  Students who participate in the afternoon session are released at 3:30 to go to KEEP unless they have a ride arranged to pick them up at 3:30.  Normal KEEP fees are charged.
