Welcome to the Calhoun High School Website! 

My name is Greg Green and this is my first year as Principal of Calhoun High School in Calhoun, Georgia. However, it is not my first time to work here. I have been a classroom teacher, a coach and an assistant principal over the years. When I was not at the high school I was busy being the assistant principal at Calhoun Elementary School and Calhoun Middle School.  My last assignment was as principal of Calhoun Middle School. I have walked the halls with some of our students since third grade!

I firmly believe that the high school years are so very important in the development of children into young adults ready to take on the world. It is an exciting time! It is a time when our students develop their talents and learn the things that will make them a productive citizen in the community. Equally as important, they will have opportunities to develop enduring friendships and make memories that will last even when their hair starts turning gray. 

At CHS we are very serious about our role in the maturation process of our students. It is incumbent upon us to create a culture of excellence in all facets of our school.
