Greetings! My name is Dr. Sean McKenzie, and I have the distinct pleasure of serving as your child's teacher this school year. This is my seventeenth year in education, and my first as a teacher at Calhoun High School. I am a product of Berry College where I graduated with a major in political science and a minor in philosophy.. I am married to my beautiful wife, Trish Thompson of Calhoun, and then we moved down to Gainesville, Florida. There I completed a PhD in political theory from the University of Florida. Trish and I moved back to Georgia after three years in Gainesville, and we have four children who are students in Calhoun City Schools. I enjoy time with Trish, fishing with my kids, tennis with my friends, and the music of Bruce Springsteen. I am passionate about education, and I thank you for giving me the opportunity to share my knowledge with your child.
