My name is Judy Peterson. I am a life long resident of Gordon County and a 1973 alumni of Red Bud High School. I have three sisters and one brother, all living and working in Calhoun.
I am married to Eddie Peterson, who is the City Manager of The City of Calhoun. We have one daughter, who is currently a senior at Emory University. We have two golden retrievers and two cats.
This fourth of July we completed the Peachtree Road Race as a family for the 34th, 23rd, and 10th time.
For the past three years I have served as the CTI (Career & Technology Instruction) Coordinator for the high school. Prior to this, I worked in the Science Department where I served as department chair, taught Physical Science, Honors Chemistry, and Biology. I will begin my 28th year of teaching this fall.
I am currently enrolled in coursework through MGRESA to satisfy an additional endorsement as Transition Specialist for CHS.
