Meet Mr. Stephenson
My name is Clay Stephenson, and I have the pleasure of being your child’s teacher this year.  This is my 8th year in education.  All eight of these years have been at Calhoun High School.  In addition to teaching Special Education, I also have coached football and golf for each of these years.  I have been around education my entire life.  My dad has been a teacher for over thirty years.  I also have uncles, aunts, cousins, and both sisters in the education field as well.  During my high school years is when I decided that Special Education was my calling.  I have enjoyed working with and creating relationships with these students ever since.  I truly have fun coming to school each morning and seeing my students.  Outside of school I enjoy playing golf and pretty much anything that involves competing.  I played golf  at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia.   I also play the guitar in a band at the First United Methodist Church.  I am excited about this year and have many new activities planned for my students.  Please feel free to contact me anytime you have questions, concerns, or new ideas.
