Welcome to my classroom! My name is Brenda Gilmor, and I am excited to be your child's teacher this year. This is my sixth year at Calhoun Primary School, and my third year teaching second grade. I graduated from Shorter College with a dual degree in psychology and sociology. After many years in the business industry, I decided I needed a career change. Having a love for children and a passion for learning, teaching was the obvious choice. I received my Master's in Education at the University of Phoenix while working as a kindergarten paraprofessional at Calhoun Primary. My husband Kevin and I live in Calhoun with our 11 year old daughter, Addison, who is in 6th grade at Calhoun Middle School.
