Welcome to Calhoun Middle School!  My name is Michelle Frix Knight and I am a proud graduate of Calhoun City Schools.  After graduating from CHS, I attended the University of Georgia where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Education and fell in love with teaching.  I later earned a Master’s Degree from Kennesaw State University and a Specialist Degree in Administration from Lincoln Memorial University.  This year will be my 24th year in education.  I have taught many different grade levels, gifted education, served as an Instructional Coach, and have been in administration for the past seven years serving as an Assistant Principal, Principal and Assistant Superintendent.  I am thrilled to be back at the school level and working with students every day!

I have a daughter, Hannah, who will be a sophomore at Calhoun High School this year.  We enjoy watching my nephews play ball (Trent will be a senior at CHS and plays football, baseball and basketball/Ty is a junior at UGA where he plays football) and spending time with our entire family.  I also love to read, swim and listen to Hannah play the piano.
