New IB Diploma Candidates Scholarship

This year for the first time, a scholarship in the amount of $1000 to the candidate who earns an IB diploma with the highest number of points.  A $500 scholarship will be awarded to the person who scores the second highest number of points.  IB candidates take courses, and are assessed in six academic areas.  In addition, they complete the IB core consisting 150 hours of Creativity, Activity and Service, a Theory of Knowledge course, and the extended essay, an in-depth research paper. Rules for awarding the diploma and the points involved  have been provided to each candidate in a handbook of information.
