My name is Mr. Jamie Reynolds and I am excited about teaching Kindergarten at Calhoun Primary! I would like to give you some background information about myself to help you get to know me a little better. The most important thing you need to know about me is that I love teaching Kindergarten and I love kids! I got my Master’s degree in Early Childhood because I wanted to teach Kindergarten and I love it!
I will never forget the first time I walked in to a Kindergarten class to teach. All their little eyes were glued on me and there was a sense of adventure and love for learning that made me fall instantly in love with Kindergartners.
I began teaching at Calhoun Primary the year the building opened in 2004. It seems like it was just a short while ago, but it has been many years now. My how time flies! I also taught German for three years (two years in elementary and one year in high school), and I taught preschool music for a year while I worked on my Master’s Degree.
I have a wonderful family that supports me. I have been happily married to my lovely wife, Kimberly, since 2003 and we have a son, Luke, who was born in Jan. 2008.
