I believe that every student has the right to an excellent education. The foundation a child builds in kindergarten must be strong in order to continue to build upon it in the following years. I focus on consistent and encouraging instruction that challenges students to be the best that they can be. Letters and the sounds they make, sight words, early phonics skills and phonological awareness, numbers, quantities, and other number concepts are just a few of the areas in which students receive extensive exposure in my classroom. Through a welcoming and nurturing learning environment, I push every student to meet and exceed in all academic and social areas.
