My name is Sarah Brown and I am entering my 11th year teaching second grade. I knew from the time I was in Pre-K that I wanted to be a teacher and never looked back. I grew up in Marysville, Ohio. I moved south to attend Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education in 2001. I then moved to Calhoun where I started teaching 2nd grade at Eastside Primary School (now Calhoun Primary). I continued my education at Piedmont College where I completed my Masters in Early Childhood Education and later my Specialists in Curriculum and Instruction. In 2009, I earned my Gifted Certification. My husband Brad and I live in Calhoun with our two year old daughter Ava and our cat Oliver.
