CES Students Make History Count

At CES 3rd grade students have recently worked diligently to create various projects on historical figures such as Frederick Douglass, Paul Revere, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Susan B. Anthony, Cesar Chavez, and other famous Americans they have been learning about in Social Studies. Students were given a choice to create a scrapbook, PowerPoint, skit, board game, etc. that includes facts and beliefs of the historical figure of their choice. Eli Croft created a scrapbook about Frederick Douglass, a born slave who fought for African American rights. Many students will be given the opportunity to share their work at the Success Rally at the end of 3rd quarter.
