Meet Mr. Wiggins
Greetings!  My name is Josh Wiggins, and I have the pleasure of serving as your child's teacher this school year.   I am a lifetime resident of Calhoun and this is my seventh year teaching  at Calhoun Middle School. I am a graduate of Calhoun High School (’91), and the University of Georgia. I am married to my beautiful wife, Katrina, and we have two children, Sarah and Seth,  who are students in Calhoun City Schools.  I coach Middle School football.  In my free time I like to hunt and fish, sports and spending time with my family.

Class Introduction
I am proud to be teaching 8th grade Math and Science  this year. Physical Science is primarily a combined introduction to chemistry and physics. It is the study of the "stuff" (matter) that everything is made of and how that stuff interacts with the world around us. Topics that will be learned this year are electricity, magnetism, waves, sound, light, motion, force, and chemistry. In Math We will be covering Numbers and Operations, Geometry, Data Analysis, Probability, and mostly Algebra.
