I will be teaching three classes of Physical Science and one class of Georgia Studies. Physical Science is primarily a combined introduction to chemistry and physics. It is the study of the "stuff" (matter) that everything is made of and how that stuff interacts with the world around us. Topics that will be learned this year are electricity, magnetism, waves, sound, light, motion, force, and chemistry.
We do some interesting labs and hands-on learning and students will understand how many things in their everyday lives work and/or behave the way they do. Georgia Studies is a multitude of information about our state’s history, government, and geography.
