Hello! My name is Davina McDaniel and I am excited to serve as your child’s teacher this year. This is my 9th year teaching at CCS. I taught for 3 years at Calhoun Elementary and is my 6th year at Calhoun Middle School. I received my bachelors degree from New Mexico State University in General Education and Special Education. After moving to Georgia, I attained my masters degree from Kennesaw State University in Early Childhood Education and my specialist degree from Piedmont College in Teaching and Learning. I am currently working on my doctorate degree through Walden University. As you can see, I am a true believer in life long learning and I hope to instill a love of learning in your child as well.
I am very passionate about individualizing education to meet the needs of all learners.
I have a 6 year-old son who is in kindergarten at Calhoun Primary School. I also have three step-children, one is a graduate from Calhoun and one is a junior at Calhoun High School. We are avid sports fans and we are all very proud to be Calhoun Yellow Jackets.
I look forward to working with you and your child to ensure that he/she has a successful school year. GO JACKETS!
