CMS Wrestling Battles at Region Duals

The CMS Wrestling Team competed in the Region Duals last Saturday and placed 4th in Varsity overall. We had several boys who went undefeated in all 4 matches.
CMS faced Woodland in the first round. Even though CMS won 9 matches and Woodland won 9 of the matches our team lost 54-43. In the consolation semi finals we came from behind to beat Adairsville 47-44. And in the consolation semi finals we lost to Sonoraville. . William Roblero, Jacob Callahan, skyler west, Christian east, Taylor Stephens, Easton trotter all won 3 matches on the day. The kids all did fantastic. Two matches really stand out. Christian East and Skyler West both made dramatic pins in the third period after being down by points. Both kids shows tremendous heart and never gave up. Christian's pin came in the last 5 seconds of his match. Brandon Miller won three matches by pin also.
The Varsity Team is competing in the Individual Region Tournament this Saturday @ Cass Middle School.
