Calhoun Middle School honors Veterans

Calhoun Middle School held a Veterans Day Program on Tuesday, November 11. Local Veterans were invited to enjoy a program led by students and Principal, Bob Orfield, that included patriotic songs, posting of the Colors by the Civil Air Patrol, United States Air Force Auxiliary led by 1st Lt. Matt Kennedy, and concluding with Taps played by band director Larry Brown. Each Veteran stood and told what branch of service they represented and their military assignment. There were representatives from WW11 to the present day retirees. The students were able to express their gratitude to our Veterans on this special day.
