Meet Mrs. Russell
My name is Kathy Russell.  I have taught in the Calhoun City Schools for 32 years.  I retired in 2009 and currently teach part-time.  I have taught kindergarten through 5th grade at various times over these years.  Since retiring, I have taught ESOL at the Primary School for grades K-2.  I am married to Ken Russell, also a retired educator.  We have two grown children, who are graduates of Calhoun High School.

Class Introduction
I will be teaching ESOL students in a pull-out setting this year at Calhoun Primary School.  These class segments teach English to Speakers of Other Languages in a small group setting.  We use WIDA standards, in addition to Georgia Performance Standards, to help students better understand and use English in the classroom setting.
