Hello, my name is Tony Lindsey, and I am happy to be an ESS teacher at Calhoun High School. I am married to Janet Lindsey who also is a teacher at CHS. I have 1 daughter, Brittany, 2 step daughters, Heather and Lauren, and 2 granddaughters, Jenica and Meg, and new grandson Jacoby. This begins my 27th year as an educator.
My favorite college teams are Alabama (RTR) and UTC, and I serve as the Head CMS Softball and Baseball Coach. I wish I had more time and money to play more golf. When I first started teaching in 1985 in the mountains of Blue Ridge, it wasn’t unusual to see a student with his or her hunting rifle or bow hanging in their pickup truck. I don't see that any more, how school has changed in just 27 years.
