I would like to introduce myself and tell you a little about me. My name is Misty Webster and I grew up in Dade County, Georgia. I received my bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I taught first grade at St. John’s Christian Academy in Charleston, South Carolina for one year, then relocated to Rome, Georgia where I have been teaching second grade at Calhoun Primary ever since. This will be my eighth year teaching, and I have had a wonderful experience at Calhoun Schools. Throughout my time at CPS, I have obtained my masters degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University and have also welcomed my daughter, McKenzie, into the world. She is two years old and we enjoy reading, playing outside, taking pictures and shopping together.
I am looking forward to getting to know your child and family. We are going to have a wonderful year. Thank you for sharing your child with me each and every day.
