I first want to start with saying that I am so excited to be working at Calhoun Primary. I myself grew up in Calhoun City Schools, and I am super excited to be coming back to my home. I will be assisting Jamie Akridge and Tonuya Anderson with students that have special needs. Special needs children are always such a blessing, and I feel as if this may be my calling. I recently graduated from North Georgia College & State University. I am engaged, and plan to get married in the Summer of 2012. I absolutely love my family as well. I have a sister that is a senior at CHS, a brother that is 6th grader at CMS, and brother that is a 7th grader at SMS. I enjoy spending my time with my family on the weekends as well as spending time with my friends. I love children and my goal in life is to make a difference in at least one of my student’s life. The classroom is where I feel the most at home and the most comfortable.
