CMS Geography Bee

Hunter Dunlap, a sixth grade student at Calhoun Middle School, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee on January 25, 2010 and a chance at a $25,000 college scholarship. Andrew Haynes, an eighth grade student, placed second in the competition and Dillon Brock, another eighth grade student, placed third.

Hunter’s written test has been sent to the state level for a chance to compete at that level. We wish him all the best of luck.
