Mission Statement: Minimize
The mission of the Calhoun Primary/Elementary Media Center is to provide instruction and utilization of information literacy skills with both print and non-print resources, to promote the development of critical thinking, and to instill an appreciation of literature.  Existing and emerging technologies will be used to provide individual and group opportunities and equal access for students.
 
The Scholastic Book Fair visited Calhoun Primary and Calhoun Elementary from September 8-16.  Curious George was a special guest at our Family Night Event on September 9.

Book Fairs Planned


Calhoun Primary and Calhoun Elementary will have three Book Fairs during the 2008-2009 school year.  Please mark the dates on your calendar.  If you are interested in volunteering at one of the fairs, please email Ms. Ralston at ralstonj@calhounschools.org.

Fall Book Fair:  September 8-16  Family Night:  Sept. 9 3:00-7:00

Spring Book Fair:  January 26-February 3  Family Night:  January 27 3:00-7:00

1/2 Price Book Fair:  May 4-12  Family Night:  May 5 3:00-7:00
