Mission Statement: Minimize
The mission of the Calhoun Primary/Elementary Media Center is to provide instruction and utilization of information literacy skills with both print and non-print resources, to promote the development of critical thinking, and to instill an appreciation of literature.  Existing and emerging technologies will be used to provide individual and group opportunities and equal access for students.
 
 
Read Across America!
 
In honor of Read Across America Week, the Gordon County Literacy Council donated several Dr. Seuss books to the CEPS media center.  Thanks, Literacy Council!

Half-Price Book Fair!

Our Half-Price Scholastic Book Fair is right around the corner.  The Fair will be open to students on May 2-13.  A Family Night is planned on Tuesday, May 3 from 3:00-7:00 pm.  Come on out and pick up some great summer reading materials. 

If you would like to volunteer to work at the book fair, please email Ms.Ralston at ralstonj@calhounschools.org.
