CMS students produce a live production every morning for students. They report the school news and announcements, the latest sports news and the weather report. There are seven teams of students who produce this program. Each team works for 5 weeks. These students attended workshops during the summer break so that they could take part in this learning experience. "This is a popular activity and it is very competitive to get in on the fun. The students do all the work, from writing the copy, working the teleprompter, manning the camera, mixing the sound, and directing the anchors and crew," media specialist, Deidre Ross explained.

Anchors Lee Alarcon and Katelyn Langston wait for their cue.
These students are very serious and professional about their morning program, and the students and faculty enjoy and appreciate the work and dedication that goes into this special communication tool.
