The Calhoun Fire Department made a special visit to Calhoun Primary School to promote Fire Safety. Batallion Chief L.Chastain talked to students about fire prevention and what firemen do to keep us safe. Students got to see fire fighting equipment up close; were able to tour a fire truck, and even see how firemen dress for an emergency.

Billy Green  is showing several different 1^st grade classes how fire fighters dress for an emergency and all the different parts of a suit. It took him 1 minute and 10 seconds to get fully dressed and ready.

Garrett Sims helps some kindergarten students get off the fire truck. Fire Prevention Week is October 7 throught the 13th.
