CHS students attend Leadership conference

Calhoun High School’s Georgia Career Students Association (GCSA) officers attended a training session held at the Airport Marriott in Atlanta on October 19th and 20th. On Friday evening during the general session, students were treated to an inspiring motivational speaker, took part in the "Battle of the Chapters" and attended a dance. Early the next morning, students attended four different leadership workshops to help prepare them for the duties required of their offices, how to successfully run a meeting, and other leadership strategies. Those attending from Calhoun High School were as pictured: front Erica Mays, President and Ashton Dorsey, Reporter. Rear:  Derikas Hines, Vice President; Matthew Widener, Historian; Kyra Harris, Treasurer; Nichole Ingle, Secretary;  Marilyn Echeverria , Member at Large and Kody Parker, Parliamentarian.
