For the 16^th year Georgia Bank and Trust has been the sponsor for the Calhoun High School Academic Awards Night. Wanda Westmoreland, Principal of CHS in her opening remarks expressed her gratitude to GBT for their commitment to this program.
      Georgia Bank and Trust also provides plaques to those students whose SAT scores are 1100+ and also provides the class of 2008 with mini diploma replicas. The printed program for this evening contained 24 pages of awards, recipients and honorees. Mrs. Westmoreland remarked that she was delighted to have this evening to celebrate the academic accomplishments of CHS underclassmen as well as the graduating class of 2008. "These successes are because of the caring and hard work of the faculty and staff of Calhoun High School, and because of the support of and encouragement from the parents of our students."
