Calhoun High School completed a sweep on its county rivals Thursday night with four victories. Calhoun won first place in two junior varsity and two varsity events over the Warriors and the Phoenix. Will Carter won the trophy for most jv individual points and Jake Baker literally nipped him at his heels for second place. Clifford Lance won fifth place for varsity individuals and Michael Butler placed second highest for varsity players, answering seven toss ups out of only thirty which he heard. CHS now awaits news on the RESA region tournament in December in Rome, from which the top four jv and varsity squads will be named to move on to RESA state finals in Bogart in January.
